Slumpgenerator

Slumpgenerator

With Slumpgenerator, you can randomize numbers, cities, and groups. You can also flip a coin or randomly generate a Yes or No. Slumpgenerator is continuously updated with values and content to randomize.

How to randomize

Randomizing on Slumpgenerator is super easy — choose settings for each random generator and enter values for lists, names, or groups, then press the respective "Randomize" button, e.g. to generate random teams.

Each generator is customized for its purpose. For example, you can choose whether to repeat values when randomizing a list, while this is not possible in the random name generator. Slumpgenerator also works perfectly as a random name picker to pick a winner or order. The number generator easily generates random numbers.

How randomness works

Slumpgenerator uses your browser's built-in JavaScript function Math.random() to generate random decimals between 0 and 1. This value is then used to calculate other numbers, lists, or values.

This method is not deterministic and can be considered random, but should not be used for advanced areas such as encryption.
