  • Slumpgenerator is now available in English

We are excited to announce that Slumpgenerator is now available in English! You can find the English version at slumpgenerator.com.

This makes it easier for people all around the world to explore and enjoy our random generators.

Check out the English site and let us know what you think!

  • Now you can randomize letters from multiple alphabets

We are excited to introduce our new randomizer Randomize Letter. With it, you can quickly and easily generate a random letter from different alphabets – for example, Swedish A–Ö, English A–Z, German A–Z, or even the Greek alphabet. Perfect for word games, teaching, or creative projects.

As a bonus, you can also have the letter pronounced aloud, making the feature especially useful for language learning and for children learning the alphabet.

Try both features and let us know what you think!

  • Slumpgenerator is now available in multiple languages

After a lot of hard work, Slumpgenerator is now available in German. You can find the German version at derzufallsgenerator.de. We are still working on translations and more languages will be introduced over time.

Feel free to visit the German version and leave feedback. Or are there other languages Slumpgenerator should be available in? Give us your feedback!

  • Slumpgenerator is now built with Next.js

We've taken a big step forward and migrated Slumpgenerator to Next.js — a modern framework for websites. This update means faster loading times, better performance, and a smoother experience no matter what device you use.

It also makes it easier to expand the service with new features and improvements in the future. Our ambition is to make Slumpgenerator even more powerful, stable, and fun to use.

Have you noticed any difference? Try it out and leave feedback — we're looking forward to developing further!

  • Paste text with line breaks into the list field

A highly requested feature has been the ability to paste text with line breaks, where each line becomes an option in the list. This is now possible in the field that accepts multiple options, such as in the randomizers Random Name Picker and Random Team Generator.

When you paste text into the field, each individual line is split into a separate option and added to the list if it doesn't already exist. This makes it very easy to paste options from, for example, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers.
